The next concerts of our ROC ensembles

ROC Beethoven concerts in Berlin

Beethoven's music can generally be described as “groundbreaking” - when he took on a musical genre, he set new standards. With good reason, he is one of the most frequently performed composers today, and the ensembles of the ROC bring his magnificent and diverse works to life in unforgettable concerts - above all his symphonies, his Missa Solemnis and his Christmas Oratorio.

Beethoven's 9th Symphony - classical music at its very best!

It is probably a cultural imperative for every orchestra to perform Beethoven's 9th Symphony - and every choir should be allowed to sing the ode “To Joy” at least once a year. In the concerts around Christmas and New Year, our ensembles therefore dedicate themselves to this venerable task and thus help the already immortal 9th Symphony to achieve a further fragment of immortality.

But it is not only Beethoven's 9th Symphony that has earned itself a place in the starry heavens of classical music; his Missa Solemnis, his Eroica and his symphonies, piano concertos and chamber pieces in general are also overwhelming and groundbreaking works that light a fire in every concert that will stay with you for a long time to come.

Enjoy a Beethoven concert in Berlin, performed for you by one of our four ensembles, to experience the old master up close.
