Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin Brahms, Schönberg, Adams

Vladimir Jurowski and the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin open the 2024-25 concert season in the Philharmonie with Brahms's Tragic Overture, Adams's "Harmonielehre" for orchestra and Schönberg's "Vier Lieder" with German opera singer Christina Bock.

With Bartók's Violin Concerto No. 2, on this evening the DSO will performing one of the most-played works of the 20th century. In addition, the orchestra will devote itself to Elena Langer's "Figaro gets a divorce", which made her known all over the world in 2016, and Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's "Scottish", in which he musically transmuted impressions from his travels.
