Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin Bruneau-Boulmier, Debussy, Strauss

It would be hard to find greater contrasts than the ones in this concert: Debussy and Strauss were both groundbreaking innovators in classical music and masters of orchestration – but each in their own way. "Ibéria" paints an atmospheric soundscape of Spain, while "Don Quixote", also set in Spain, brims with humor and tragedy.

Christmas concerts of the ROC in 2025

The Christmas concerts performed by our four ensembles let Christmas in Berlin in 2025 sound out in contemplative and exhilarating tones, creating wonderful evenings full of Christmas spirit in the impressive flair of the Konzerthaus Berlin, Berlin Cathedral and the Philharmonie Berlin.

The Christmas concert of the Rundfunkchor Berlin, which performs Christmas a cappella works every year in the Berlin Cathedral, has already become a tradition. In addition, the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester dedicates itself to the night before Christmas 2025 with a brilliant classical concert in the Philharmonie Berlin.

You probably won't get a better opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit through a concert in Berlin.

Shortly afterwards, you can enjoy the pleasure of intoxicating New Year's Eve and New Year's Day concerts, which give 2026, the new year, a fitting kickoff.
