Our Bach concerts in Berlin 2026
To express Johann Sebastian Bach's musical genius in words would do his compositions an injustice. The four top ensembles of the ROC can do this much more clearly and worthily with their numerous grandiose Bach concerts at various impressive venues in Berlin.

The next concerts of our ROC ensembles in Berlin
ROC Bach concerts in Berlin
Bach is a pioneer of classical music and as precise and clear as his compositions are, they are also revolutionary. You can experience this precise, but at times also incredibly emotional revolution in the magnificent Bach concerts performed by the ROC's top ensembles. It is not only the St. Matthew Passion and the Mass in B minor that regularly appear in the programs of the ROC concerts in Berlin. In their Bach concerts, the ensembles take on Bach's diverse repertoire with complete dedication and bring musical greats such as works from the Art of Fugue, the Christmas Oratorio or the St. John Passion to brilliant new life.
Johann Sebastian Bach - an incomparable oeuvre
A large number of Bach's works have made music history. There are his Brandenburg Concertos. The Well-Tempered Clavier. The Goldberg Variations. The aforementioned St. Matthew Passion and St. John Passion. The Toccata in D minor and so on and so forth.
With the exception of opera, Bach made use of all the important genres of his time: cantatas, oratorios, works for the piano and organ, chamber and orchestral music and, last but not least, the fugue. And in all musical genres, this exceptional composer set new standards, explored new boundaries and created musical excellence.
The various venues in Berlin, such as the Konzerthaus Berlin or the Philharmonie Berlin, as well as many impressive venues abroad, provide a worthy setting for the Bach concerts.
