Vladimir Jurowski & Lucas und Arthur Jussen
Humperdinck and Tchaikovsky right before Christmas – there’s hardly a more festive way to kick off Christmas Eve. In addition to the overture, the Evening Blessing, and the Dream Pantomime from "Hansel and Gretel", the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Children’s Choir of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, and Principal Conductor Vladimir Jurowski will perform the first act of "The Nutcracker" in a concert version. In between, Poulenc’s brilliant and entertaining Concerto for Two Pianos will be performed – with Lucas and Arthur Jussen at the pianos.
