Vladimir Jurowski & Lucas und Arthur Jussen
Humperdinck and Tchaikovsky right before Christmas – there’s hardly a more festive way to kick off Christmas Eve. In addition to the overture, the Evening Blessing, and the Dream Pantomime from "Hansel and Gretel", the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the Children’s Choir of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, and Principal Conductor Vladimir Jurowski will perform the first act of "The Nutcracker" in a concert version. In between, Poulenc’s brilliant and entertaining Concerto for Two Pianos will be performed – with Lucas and Arthur Jussen at the pianos.
