SCHALLBRÜCKEN – with starry sky projection

Under the vast starry sky of the Zeiss Großplanetarium Berlin, you can relive the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin's season opener through a recording. Rachmaninoff’s "The Bells" echoed through the Philharmonie under the baton of Principal Conductor Vladimir Jurowski – the Berlin Radio Choir provided the vocals for this monumental and, as a result, rarely performed work. Soprano Galina Cheplakova, tenor Anton Rositskiy, and baritone Vladislav Sulimsky lent their voices to the bells – ranging from youthful exuberance to the tolling of death.
