JAZZIK „électroacoustique“
In the final JAZZIK concert of the season, Brandt Brauer Frick redefines the boundaries between electronic and classical music: The Berlin-based project creates the hypnotic groove of techno and house using purely acoustic instruments – piano, drums, strings, and winds. Under the direction of Joseph Bastian, the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin combines this sound with classical masterpieces and groundbreaking contemporary works, including Florence Price’s rousing "Juba Dance" and Anna Clyne’s "Restless Oceans."
