No topic in culture is both as central and as rarely discussed as sex. Although it affects literally everyone, people still blush when talking about it. In his farewell season as chief conductor, Gijs Leenaars, together with the Rundfunkchor Berlin, tackles precisely this topic. Amid choral and chamber music pieces ranging from the more to the less explicit – such as Jean-Yves Daniel-Lesur’s twelve-part setting of the Song of Songs – 3sat’s "Kulturzeit" host Vivian Perkovic explores the topic in discussions with experts.
