Longing for one's homeland is a difficult-to-grapple-with yet incredibly central motif, particularly in the modern age. One can perhaps best approach it in music. This is what the singers of the Schola of the Rundfunkchor Berlin will attempt to do with works by Johannes Brahms, Franz Schubert, Maurice Ravel and Benjamin Britten in the St. Elisabeth-Kirche.
