Stille Seele Berlin
RIAS Kammerchor
Kammerakademie Potsdam
This concert is dedicated not just to Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, but also to his sister Fanny Hensel, whose compositions are much less well-known than her brother's. "Meine Seele ist stille" is a hymn of praise celebrating her only son's first birthday. Alongside this, you will hear works by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, demonstrating why he deservedly has been accorded such great respect for almost two centuries.
