The jewel of this evening is Peter Eötvös's Concerto for Harp and Orchestra, which the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin will perform together with acclaimed harpist Xavier de Maistre – conducted by the composer himself! This work will be framed by Wagner's "Siegfried Idyll" and two of Debussy's most iridescent orchestral works; of the two, "Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune" triggered his artistic breakthrough.
