Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Ignaz Moscheles were not only pupil and teacher, but also very attached to one another, both as friends and musically. Together, they not only kicked off a Bach renaissance, but also composed several works. The Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin dedicates this evening's concert to this friendship.
