›Music from Jewish Exile in Shanghai‹
Chamber music ensemble of the DSO
The refuge that many Jewish refugees were hoping to find in Shanghai turned out to be ghettoisation, shortages and a struggle for survival. Nonetheless, a cultural life developed there that also found expression in music. This life will be outlined and reflected on at this concert performed by Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin chamber music ensembles.
