Mensch, Musik! #7 – Statt Land Meer

Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin

This Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin concert series has a contrasting concept to the stereotype that classical music takes place in an ivory tower, showing just the opposite: music is for people! Music has an effect, music moves us, music explains. And music collaborates, for instance, with director Annika Haller or students and alumni of Berlin's "Catalyst" creative institute. On this evening, conducted by Roderick Cox, one of the works the RSB will perform is Debussy's "La Mer" – three symphonic sketches for large orchestra.
