23 Dec Saturday, 19 Uhr Philharmonie Berlin

Marc Minkowski & Florian Sempey

Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin

"Does not count", "just an attempt", "completely invalid" and "nullified" – that's what Bruckner wrote on the title page of his Symphony in D minor, addomg a crossed-out zero for further clarification. That he judged this work a bit too severely will be demonstrated by the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin conducted by Marc Minkowski in Berlin's Philharmonic Hall. Before that, you can hear Florian Sempey's baritone voice in Ernest Chausson's "Poème de l'amour et de la mer", the composition of which took a full ten years.
