Ingo Metzmacher
Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin
Conductor Ingo Metzmacher exemplifies unusual programs: in addition to conducting "Casino", Anton Plate's new work, he will lead the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin through the intractable and challenging but also quite simply fantastic soundscapes of Max Reger's Piano Concerto in F minor and John Adams's "Harmonielehre", the result of a painstaking and prolonged development, which in its own way seems no less fantastic than Reger's composition.
