Conducted by Marcus Creed, the RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, together with the MusikFabrik ensemble, will perform works which stem from inquiring into poetry: besides Henze's choral fantasies on poems by his long-standing friend Ingeborg Bachmann, Smolka's "Poema de balcones" will be performed. The work was inspired by poetic fragments by the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca.
