Chamber concert at Ballhaus Wedding

This evening is devoted entirely to Johannes Brahms and Johann Strauss (son) – well, almost entirely. Between the two Viennese masters of sound, Hugo Wolf takes his place with “An eine Äolsharfe,” a song based on a poem by Mörike, in which sound transformed into text is once again turned back into sound.
