Antonín Dvorák »Stabat Mater«

Schola of the Rundfunkchor Berlin Rundfunkchor Berlin Berliner Philharmoniker

Dvořák's "Stabat Mater" is one of the saddest compositions in music history: begun after the death of his newborn daughter, completed after the death of his two older children, every note speaks of the childless couple's pain. The Rundfunkchor Berlin will perform this deeply moving work together with the Berlin Philharmonic, conducted by Czech conductor Jakub Hruša.
