Andris Poga

Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin

The Latvian conductor Andris Poga will present the development of Russian music, from Mussorgsky's anti-academicism to Prokofiev's self-confidence. Between the two, Daníel Bjarnason's Percussion Concerto, with which percussionist Martin Grubinger will celebrate his farewell from the Berlin stage, seems like a loud bang from the modern era.

Modest Mussorgski
“Night on Bald Mountain” (Original version by the composer)
Daníel Bjarnason
