Adam Fischer
Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin
The Hungarian conductor Adam Fischer will lead the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin – and the audience too – through an evening full of Hungarian greatness: Joseph Haydn kicks things off with the overture "La fedeltà premiata" ("Fidelity Rewarded") and his 97th symphony, which already heralds the modern era. This is followed by Bartók's “Bluebeard's Castle”, a concertante performance of the one-act opera, and a constant, fascinating musical “volcanic eruption”, as Bartók's colleague Kodály called the work.
